Dr. Ashok Kota

Dr. Kota’s life was changed by his family dentist in India. He saw the way his dentist transformed so many lives and smiles and quickly decided that that was what he wanted to do with his life. During his training as a general dentist, he fell in love with prosthodontics and the truly transformative potential of the field. In pursuit of his career, he headed to the U.S. to work in a non-profit health center as a dentist, where he soon became an associate dental director.

Afterwards, he attended the prestigious Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, NY. He completed his 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program there before attending a 3-year Prosthodontic Specialty program at the State University of New York at Buffalo, fulfilling his dream.

Now, with over two decades of experience, Dr. Kota has opened up his own office specializing in implant dentistry and prosthodontic care. When he’s not proudly serving the community of Sugar Land, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing chess with his kids.
